Fried tofu in red sauce (tao huu nham deang)

This is sound like not Thai food but we eat it as a normal. Kids really love this dish because it sweet and it can made them can eat more vegetables. I use egg tofu because I don't like smell of bean tofu (not all of brand just some) Anyway in Thailand egg tofu also more popular than bean tofu, they soft and delicious. This dish you can change the meat into any kind you like, such as ground chicken, ground beef, or ground turkey. You can add spring onion for the green color and flavor if you have it on hand. In Thailand we eat it as a side dish with rice. Hope you'll like this :)

  • 3 ts. ketchup
  • 1 ts. sriracha sauce
